Fuel Pump and Gauge

I was left stranded today as my fuel gauge read 47% on the Haltech IC-7 display. I upgraded the turbo to a Z54 and was thinking about upgrading the fuel pump since I may need a new fuel sensor. Suggestions?

*I may be able to calibrate the Haltech.

Does the Haltech get it's signal from the suspect fuel pump? If so, that would be the first thing I tested.

I assume that "upgraded the turbo" means that you have a LNF donor. I'm not aware of any drop in fuel pumps. I wouldn't worry about it unless you have evidence that you have fuel pressure problems, and then you will need to figure out if its the High Pressure pump or low pressure that is causing issues. I think it is usually the HP until you get into big horsepower.

That happened to me the first year I was out in mine LNF donor. I went to do some more work on it the following winter and rewatched some of the new videos. I missed where it’s said to relocate one of the arms on the fuel pump to reclock it. Works great now
