Passenger Side Foot Plate & BCM relocation

Looking at photos of recent builds, I see a foot plate on the passenger side ahead of the fuse box. Has this piece always come with the kit? I have one of the first chassis (#13) which I bought as a work-in-progress, and I don't seem to have this plate. If it's a recent addition to the kit, is it an orderable part?

Also, has anybody successfully moved the BCM to a location other than the passenger side? Asking as the passenger footwell would be an ideal place to mount the bottle for the fire suppression system that I'm adding..

My kit 121 came with the passenger foot plate. Ask DF if you can order it.
I don't know of anyone relocating the BCM. There is a limited range you could move it, before you would need to do major wiring work. I would imagine it is easier to relocated the fire suppression.

All it would entail is extending the wires to a more suitable location. It needs to be somewhere dry though, or seal the BCM in a water tight container,
