In 2017 when we bought our Fiesta, we cross-shopped a Golf Sportwagen 6 speed manual
AWD. It was an awesome ride and a sweet deal at $22,800. But that was still ten grand more than the Fiesta.
That Golf would still be worth $20 grand today, though. :p
My fantasy dad vehicle is an ecoboost Ford Flex. Plenty of power, plenty of room, and comfy for long trips.
We only had one child though, so we haven't needed anything larger than our Fiesta.
David, a few people have gone to using a tablet and a bluetooth OBD2 scanner. I'm in the middle of it right now. May not give you everything you're looking for, but it's a lot more than the OEM gauge cluster.
I have a progressive commercial policy. Since the vehicle is owned by my business, that's the route they recommend. They had no issue with the fact that it was not a conventional car. Took the VIN and that was it. I did have to do it over the phone, as the online system isn't built for setting...
Last call before it goes in the metal bin.
I ran it a couple weeks ago for a day while I was working on my other exhaust. This is just as loud as I remember.
I replied back a couple years ago, and I'll reply again. The vibration is noticeable. It's not severe, but can be annoying. Certain idle speeds and then certain harmonic frequencies are most affected.
If I was doing the timing chain again, I'd leave it all in. There's virtually no gain.
That's going to be perfect.

I saw somewhere, maybe FB group you can also just...
Josh, sorry I haven't replied to your message. I was trying to find pictures of the hole I drilled, but I'll look later. Essentially, I drilled an 1/8" hole in the aluminum of the head right in the middle of where the LSJ gasket PCV hole is. The LAP head still has a void inside and allows...
I just had an autocross event yesterday and I get what you mean. It's almost as if the vacuum booster is a regulator itself and as you push on the pedal, it increases vacuum. When you have a lower input pressure, you have normal assist until you hit that level, then the assist doesn't increase...
I know this isn't exactly a Cobalt part, but there's lots of Ecotec members here who may be able to help.
I'm looking for an F23 with the 4.17 final drive. This is out of early HHRs.
Within a 4-5 hour drive of 53913 preferable.
Thanks!
