Thanks for the replies, ya I will just start doing runs and tweak suspension, yes I have adjustable on all 4. Loooooving my goblin, about 8k miles on it, but haven't done an actual quarter mile run.
Excited to see what i can do. About 400hp z57. Ya I didn't think it would be a problem. Next mod is going to be 275 nt01 in the rear, I know that is a bit wide to heat up on the street, more for just the look.
What is everyone's thought on how to setup a goblin for drag racing. Tires? Suspension setup? I have a turbo goblin and a few buddies that drag race, want to bring it to the strip and see what it will do. How much would running drag radicals change how well it drives on the street? I'm...
Hey, just saw you post about the side scoops. Where in minneapolis are you? I live in the alexandria area but am in the cities quite a bit. Trying to keep a list of people that are in MN and maybe do a goblin get together next year.
Perfect, I have been 120 or so...it didn't feel like i was going to lose it, but VERY floaty. I am excited to see what its like, has anyone done a larger one? Do you think this is about as big as you could go without going front wing like Justin?
why a relay instead of a fan? Just curious why a relay is better. electrical exp. is moderate but when I bought the car the guy specifically said he REEEEAAAALLLY struggled with the electrical side...and it shows. Electrical gremlins popping up EVERYWHERE.
I have but just to see i used one of those fuse jumper wires and on any ignition fuse I can find power turns off when I turn off auto lights. Maybe I should just not mess with the fuel pump. The intercooler fans and pump I could just put on a switch. But you are probably right I should see if...
So when you turn the automatic headlights off, or if the sun is out and the dash lights turn off. The intercooler pump turns off and the heat exchanger fan turns off. I am adding another 2 heat exchangers on the sides of the engine bay and for the life of me cannot figure out where he wired...
The original builder messed up the wiring so my intercooler pump and fans turn off with the dash lights. So to make things easier im going to add a panel and control that system on its own, figured I could do the fuel pump on that system also. Kinda for cool factor also
How it work if I wanted to run my fuel pump on a seperate circuit to a switch. So I would turn on the switch and power the fuel pump, how could I do that without the computer getting mad?
Could someone post a wiring diagram for the goblin? I am wondering what splicing is/was required and maybe that might help me narrow things down, I looked a bit and couldn't find a wiring diagram as to what changes you make with the goblin.
I purchased the kit from the original builder with basically no miles on it. 2009 cobalt 2.0l turbo. I originally thought this was a new problem, but I think on normal daylight hours the lights just would come on. Car is complete and running, so unfortunately I cannot see any splicing or wiring...
thanks! Do you think this could be a bad headlight relay? Are both low beam and high beam supposed to be on together? I do notice that low beams do not shut off when high beams are on. I thought about replacing the front fuse panel as it looks like those relays cannot be replaced.
2009 cobalt...
