Well, I must say this really sucks, but I’m listing my donor parts for sale. My nephew and I were really looking forwarding to building the Goblin, but I’ve had a couple of financial setbacks in 2017. I’m not financially destitute, but I just can’t afford to pursue this project. :(

What I have are the donor parts from a 2008 Pontiac G5. I purchased the car from Copart about a year ago. I got as far as stripping all the donor parts from the car and stripping the unnecessary systems from the dash wiring harness. I haven’t touched the body harness. Basically, I’ve done everything from part 1 – part 9 of the video build guide.

A few Pics of my parts, The Rest are in the Gallery: https://photos.app.goo.gl/Drzm2UkZCtbz0CS63

Here are a couple of pics of my 2008 Pontiac G5 2.2L 5 Speed before I stripped it:

I was able to start the motor. See video in the gallery. The passenger side motor mount was damaged from the wreck and the fender well was pushed in, so I didn’t run it for very long.

Missing/Damaged:
Seatbelts:
They were locked up from the accident. I did keep the bolts.
Throttle Body: There is damage to the connector on the throttle body and on the engine harness. There are pictures in the gallery below detailing both.
Starter: The starter housing is cracked and will need to be replaced. It was able to start the engine, but I wouldn’t drive like that. I have pictures in the gallery.

I’ve uploaded pictures of all the donor parts to this gallery:

Here is a link to my build log where you can see my process with the donor: http://dfkitcar.com/forum/index.php?threads/pg5s-track-goblin-2008-g5.234/

I’m asking $800 for the donor parts. The parts are located in Houston Texas if you are able to pick up. Otherwise, I happen to work for a company that does a fair amount of LTL Freight. So, I can ship these parts anywhere in the US. Generally, freight costs to locations in Texas are $140 for dock pick up or to a commercial location where a lift gate would not be required. Outside of Texas it’s generally $200 – $300 with the same commercial location and lift gate restrictions. Residential fee is usually an additional $60 and lift gate service is $80. If you PM me your address, I can get you an exact quote.

Thanks & I've replied! I'd love to see the parts go to someone who can use them.

I don’t expect you’d be interested in seperating but if it comes to that I’d be interested in engine and trans.
