I am thinking it might be a little easier if I had pictures of the multi plugs with the wires that are left in them.

Does anyone have pictures that will show me exactly what wires stay???

thanks

You need to be sure to compare yours to an exact make and model. The connectors that are used for the Goblin change from year to year and from model to model.

Ok so far I’m doing better!!!

But I have 6 wires that I have no idea if I should take them out. They sound important.

A6 - run/crank ignition 1 voltage
B9 - cruise control clutch pedal position switch signal
B11 - accelerator pedal position
C3 - torque converter clutch brake switch signal
D4 - stop lamp supply voltage
D8 - shift select switch park signal

I've been away from my project for a while. Lots of personal stuff going on. Anyway, I'm getting back into my wiring harnesses, and I have no reference for connector positions. For example, where would "D6" be on the red BCM connector, etc? Does anyone have reference pictures for different connectors to show the numbering system(s)? The videos don't show any reference to positions (WTH?) and I need to know for sure that I am at the correct positions before I begin cutting / thinning. Any help is greatly appreciated.

numbers are rows, letters are columns... so D6 is the 4th column and 6 rows down.
If you look real close on the connector, you often can find some of the corners labeled... cast into the plastic.
I use my phone to take close up pictures, and look for the small numbers or letters.

Thanks, Ross!! That's exactly what I was looking for. I've heard that the numbers are cast into the plastic housings on some of them, but I honestly don't see them. I never thought of taking a pic and zooming. Where'd you find that connector position schematic? I'd like to find others like that for the other connectors, like the fuse block connectors. Google searches have not been much help at all. Thanks again, in advance...
