Large Yellow/black Wire

I cut but didn't remove a larger heavy gauge wire that is yellow w/black tracer from the BCM plug. I cannot remember why I didn't remove it. Now I cannot find it in the videos or any reference to it.

Anyone happen to know what it is for? It's the only large yellow w/black.

I wonder if it went to the amp under the dash. I cannot find any reference to it so I wonder if it was for an option that is not on the base model.

The SS/SC don't have the battery current sensor, oddly. I appreciate the suggestion. I thought I had found it and I thought it was part of the restraint system, but that wire in the schematics didn't go to the BCM. If I could find a reference to the pin out of the BCM, that would give me the answer.

Can you post a pic of the connector? It must be specific to your model as I don't seem to have any heavy gauge wires of that color. I do have a few of that color but they're for things like low reference, turn signal, etc.

I thought it went to the BCM, but actually it went to the blue dash connector. It's the wire on the top left, second one down. Still looking for that connector in the diagrams. Since this connector was cut out and the rest of the wires extended, whatever this came from might be long gone.

I believe I finally found it! I believe its the left rear speaker (-) (UQ3). It's in the I/P Harness to the Body Harness connector. Pin C11. It changes from a yellow on the one side of the connector to a yellow/black on the other side if you have the UQ3 option and if you don't it's just a yellow wire. For some reason I didn't get this one cut and thought that I needed it for something.

I woke up in the middle of the night last night worried about it and was going to stop the build until I figured this one out. I have just don't want to have to go back and strip half the car to figure out a problem.

Oddly along the way I found out all of the green wires that are connected to one common connection are NOT dash illumination wires! They are low speed serial data. Ugh, for some reason I thought they were for dash illumination and was going to use a couple for lighting dash switches. That would have been bad!
