Yea, just hoping I can hit the 400hp without the ported head and stage 2 cams, at a semi reliable boost pressure.400whp is easily attainable on a larger turbo LNF. With the ported head, stage 2 cams, 6758, valvetrain, Opels and a quality tune on my build, I'd be sad if Im not there or more.
I would agree, I did delete shafts, beefier chain guides, ATI Dampner, Dyemond Fab intake and some additional ARP fasteners so the plan was to retune it in hopes a better intake airflow and possibly a little more HP.400whp is easily attainable on a larger turbo LNF. I'd bet they turned up Robs a bit with the built shortblock.
Any idea what ZZP is charging for a dyno tune these days? I had them do a remote tune on the Cobalt, but I'd rather take the goblin there and have it done right.I would agree, I did delete shafts, beefier chain guides, ATI Dampner, Dyemond Fab intake and some additional ARP fasteners so the plan was to retune it in hopes a better intake airflow and possibly a little more HP.
Can you dyno tune my car?
Yes! We have a chassis dyno, that we operate 6 days a week. Normal dyno tuning is the cost of our PCM (if yours is stock) plus $115 to $300 depending on the time and number of dyno pulls required to dial in your setup.
+$350 for a "custom LNF swap" (tube chassis car, sand rail ). I saw that mentioned on another thread and knew it was the case for remote tunes, but didn't know if it was the same deal for actually taking it there and having it put on the dyno.Fair warning though. That Ryan Derrick dude fucking hates goblins, states it publicly and will repeat it again if asked.
Glad you caught that. Yeap, that too. Dismantle the precious cobalts and pay the penalties. Should be all the same load on a dyno *shrugs shoulders* Already paid my penalty for the remote tune option seeing as Im not making the drive from eastern PA to the midwest just use their dyno. Iirc, it is a mustang dyno, so take that into account while hoping for hp numbers.+$350 for a "custom LNF swap" (tube chassis car, sand rail ). I have mine mounted low and tight behind the passenger seat. I also invested in the electronic check valve, I recommend that strongly as I've sold many of these kits and although it doesn't happen very often it is very possible to see them siphon into the intake and dump the entire reservoir inside.I’m currently trying to put a meth injection kit on my Lnf. My current hurdle is finding a good spot to put the water/meth pump to be under the tank and injector.
I did the same time. Made a bracket for it in the small spot next to the fuel tank and engine. I wired the arm voltage to my accessory button so I can turn it on or off. I’m not tuning it up to always have it, but it’s nice to clean out the intake and help stay cool with autocross runs.I have mine mounted low and tight behind the passenger seat.
