re: a2w intercooler pump

I've been studying this thread's build photos very carefully because they are super detailed. Noticed that this was done in 2016. For folks doing heat exchangers in the nose, do we still feel that the intercooler water pump is best placed in the nose near the exchanger? I've been mocking things up in preparation for installation, so want to be certain of "current best practices" before I commit.

Better to put the pump after the heat exchanger, although I don't know if the turbo gets hot enough to heat the water that it makes a difference to the pump. With my large heat exchanger over the motor and two fans running on it, I've only seen a few degrees over ambient for my iat.

And you want it to be low in the system also.

>>> Pump location should not matter in a closed system.
This is what I thought as well.

>>> Better to put the pump after the heat exchanger
I agree, my plan was to do this....it looks like Lonny plumbed this way as well.

>>> And you want it to be low in the system also
I think the nose location meets this requirement as well.

Sounds like the nose location remains a solid practice. Thanks for the helpful feedback.
