V1 radiator drain drip

I drained the radiator today stripping the donor. I have never liked the little plastic drains. I closed mine up after emptying the coolant only to find it still dripped - and not even under pressure or hot. I unscrewed it completely, wiped off the seal, tried to blow some air up to clear any grit, and wiped the port as good as possible. Still a small drip. I really do not feel that I can tighten it up any more for fear of breaking it or stripping something.

Anyone else have the same issue? Solution?

I suppose it is a moot point since the donor radiator does not get used on the Goblin. Still trying to get my arms around what stays and what goes!
