I'm using the DF supplied tie rods and rack limiters and am coming up with the following scenario. The ends are on about 15 turns which is about an inch of threading. Is this normal/ok? Both sides are equal.
General rule, if it is a 1/2" shaft and you thread it in 1/2", you are good.
Since you made it an inch, and that is about a 1/2" shaft, I would say you are good.
