V1 Trailer Harness Wiring

I recently put a hitch on my goblin (with inspiration from @Ross). I'm struggling with the trailer light wiring though. I'm hooking it to a standard 4 pin connector. I'm confused because of the labeling on my (our?) taillights.

Trailer harness wiring:
  • Brown: Taillights/SideMarkers
  • Green: Right turn/stop
  • Yellow: Left turn/stop
  • White: Ground

Goblin wiring:
  • Right plug:
    • Reverse
    • Ground
  • Left plug:
    • Stop/Tail
    • Turn
    • Ground

I'm really not sure what to make of that. I feel like I need some sort of adapter box in between the two because I need Stop/Turn on Stop/Tail. Maybe its poorly labelled and Stop/Tail is actually just "Tail", and Turn gives it the signal for Turn or Stop? Idk, my brain is fried trying to scrambled and get the car ready for racing next weekend. Thoughts?

PS these are my taillights. They should be the same as stock, but I wanted to get rid of the chrome, and these are blacked out.

The ground is self explanatory. The TAIL is the red lights are on, the STOP or TURN is the red lights are on bright. Reverse is the clear lights are on.

The brown wire goes to the TAIL connection. The green wire goes to the right (passenger) side STOP or TURN connection. The yellow wire goes to the left (driver) side STOP or TURN connection. Your trailer harness doesn't look like it has a provision for backup lights from your description.

What is up with your Goblin wiring??? Do your rear tail lights work? If they do, you need to correct the wires listed above.

The right tail light should have:
- Tail lights (usually the brown wire, which when 12V+ is applied, turns the tail light on dim red)
- Turn/Stop (usually the yellow wire, which when 12V+ is applied, turns the tail light on bright red)
- Ground (usually black, which when 12V+ is applied, blows the fuse)
- Reverse (maybe a white wire? When 12V+ is applied, turns the tail light on the white reverse light)

The left tail light should have:
- Tail lights (brown)
- Turn/Stop (green)
- Ground (black)
- Reverse (white?)

I went out there and probed it with a multimeter. It is in fact labeled wrong on the light. The single "STOP/TAIL" is actually running light and the "TURN" is actually "STOP/TURN". That's what I get for ordering cheapo Amazon lights lol. I have a prototype harness made but I won't know if it works until I get my trailer back from my dad.
