Sell Me Your Built Turbo Goblin for Cash?

I know there are classifieds on here, and I check them multiple times a day. If you're anything like me, then you despise selling a car. Especially a car that doesn't fit to just trade it in or sell along the road. Craigslist and Facebook marketplace bring an endless stream of scammers, low-ballers, tire-kickers, and no, I don't want your old computer as a partial trade!

I sat on my last "fun car" for months because I didn't want to deal with the hassle of selling it, knowing top dollar would be to part it back out to stock, trade in, sell the parts, etc. Eventually I finally sold it, now looking to buy a Goblin. Part of it is sentimental because I've built some big horsepower tubo cobalts in the past, but completely unnecessary or not, my next ecotec build will be a built block turbo in a goblin.

I could and should build it myself, but I'm in between locations currently and renting, while also impatient. I thought with the V2s on the horizon, maybe somebody wants to move to that platform? Or in a different stage of life and your goblin never gets driven anymore? I could take over someone else's as a starting point. Minimum requirements are manual and turbo, but heavy bonus if a bigger turbo and a well-built block, better clutch, etc.

If there's anybody on here who has a car they would consider selling but haven't got around to listing yet, and wants to bypass all the hassle, shoot me a message. It'll go to someone who values and appreciates the platform and a quality build, with cash in hand.

We have 5 goblins we need to get rid of.

There are three that were built when we were filming videos.

Base auto - full cage - standard length frame

Super charged - open cage - extended frame (Adam's car)

Sent you a message on an available unit.
Thanks

Rather than repost the same thing, maybe I'll bump it back to the top. Just in case there's somebody new on here or that changed their mind. Still looking and still have cash!

have you talked to Pisco? He had some pretty serious medical issues and is listing his car. hate to see him do it because it really was special to him.

What exactly is it that you are looking for? You want a turbo car, yet you ignore some excellent base offerings and continue to bump your post.

Fair question. Maybe I should reword my initial post to be more clear. The "bigger turbo and a well-built block" is what I'm primarily looking for or would be my end goal someday. I realize that's a needle in a haystack, so would consider a stock turbo build if it fit my taste with design/mods and especially if it was semi-local, knowing I'd build it more eventually. I've intended to respectfully reply to everyone who's taken the time to reply or reach out, to find out what all they've done to it and where they're located. I'd drive across the country for a special one, but less likely to squeeze in the time for a trip to get a stock turbo build, unless schedule worked out perfect. I'd like something a little extra, even if completely unnecessary. Knowing that might be unlikely, then I'm just being picky when it comes to design and location. A base offering might tempt me if it fell in my lap.

You know what you would like - great! You know you may need to compromise to get a Goblin to then build up as you desire! So.

Where are you located, since you don't want to travel far and wide?

I personally know that all of Lonny's Goblins are well built and proven road worthy over the last many years. Upgrades were made as they became available. Okay - so they are the wrong color combinations, wrong transmissions, no wings, wrong wheels and tires. and too far away. Pisco's nice build, did okay at the last Goblinfest (first time long tripping). Same as above optioned out.

Pick any car brand car or truck today. Go to a dealer with knowing what you want. Buy an 80,0000 dollar car with exactly what you want as options!
Oops! It didn't come with some little feature you wanted. But there are aftermarket things to fix that issue, so you spend more money with bling and things to get what you really wanted.

Kit cars (any brand) are never finished!! Always some little thing you forgot when building or upgrading. But you can fix it later.

Car haulers will be glad to take your money if you find that perfect car.

Lonny probably has a few V1 frames on the shelf waiting for someone to buy. Build you own and get what you want. Or compromise a little and upgrade. Can you build what you want for the same cost as buying then upgrading? What satisfies you most -- the build or the drive?

Also to help other Goblin owners make recommendations or offer up their Goblins, what are your end goals? Daily driving (weather dependent), Road cruises, car shows/club events, autocross or track racing, drag racing, hill climb, street show downs?

Find a Goblin close to you and take a drive. Do you really like it enough to make it your own? did it fit you, did it handle the way you wanted, is it too soft or harsh?

Tell the community here what above is on your mind and needs list! Write your wants list out and keep it as an upgrades down-the-road list of things to do.
