if anyone has a source for the fuel line ends so I can make a fuel line for this turbo car it would be much appreciated! the one i had was damaged and too short/ missing one end

LaunchPad
i know this is for the two versions of the car i do not have. . . .but these fittings should be what i need- just need a source:

DF Goblin Assembly - Building the Fuel Line (NA and SS/SC Only)

right now i am exploring these two rabbit holes- might net the parts. a tad spendy:

As of today this Goblin is insured, titled, and registered with plates!!! woot woot.. . . kind of just in time to go into storage for the nasty winters we get here. lol

Truth be told it still has a bit of work before even first start. but alas to day i am working on driveway gates before i lose my window for pouring concrete for the posts. I might just sit in the goblin for a bit and make vroom vroom noises. lol. tis getting close!

I am still working on my driveway gate if the welding gets done today i can call for a dig permit tonight and pour concrete by saturday!

I just received the BILL for the Goblin insurance that just got issued so that i could plate it. To say that it was shockingly high to me would be an understatement. as of today it is $95.62/mo and is not even "stated value" type of insurance. I told the agent it would be around $25,000 replacement value and they have the VIN for the donar car.

I am using pretty basic coverage across the board for all my vehicles with the exception of individual valuations.
liability 250,000/person 100,000 property
medical payments 5,000
uninsured motor vehicle coverage 250,000/person and 500,000/accident
underinsured motor vehicle coverage 250,000/person and 500,000/accident
comprehension
collision

Contrast that with the Stalker IS stated value at $65,000, also there is a 1928 Bugatti 35c replica, a Saturn Sky, an F350, and 3 trailers all over 20ft right now on the same policy which only ran $169/month total before adding the Goblin. maybe dropping coverage on several other vehicles that I am disposing of or will be in long term storage and not driven has uno-reversed the multi car discount dramatically? somewhere around here I have a individual break down of each vehicle but the goblin seems to be costing me more than twice the Stalker at a fraction of the coverage!

I am feeling a bit racked over the coals- is ~$100/month a typical cost for other goblins full coverage?

I just renewed our policy for $415 for the year. When we quoted the insurance it was over $1200 per year because of our daughter. We excluded the daughter from the insurance coverage and brought the cost down.

right now I am the only listed driver. no accidents, no tickets and since I "work" on my acreage I don't even have commute miles on each car. . .

what trees? lol

well out in these parts only the area around the farm houses have trees. we do have lots and lots of radical deer out after dark especially since the farmers are taking down the corn and soybeans! it really is like taking your life in your hands after dark right now!

It is finally warm enough and with enough cabin fever to be in the shop with some help from the woodstove burning scrap pallets. . .once I finish welding the chassis I am working on then I can devote a whole day to my goblin. . . <salivating or the thought> should all be electrical from here out, double checking bolt torques and making sure shift cables and such have retainer pins. I wasn't planning to do any body stuff THIS year but. . .I can't help but day dream now can I? Looking over at the Goblin i can't help but think of some fender ideas for it. . . hmm

The down time and being stuck indoors mostly since Christmas for the harsh weather has made me soft I guess, standing at the welding table only half the day, today, and my back is killing me! still I must press on so tomorrow can be a Goblin day!

It would drive me nuts to hibernate like that. I know we do the same in the summer when it’s 100+ outside, but we can still get out in the mornings to do work.

Now maaaaaybe I am just getting older and all. . .but I spent 13 months at the "north pole" and it never really seemed as bad to me as Nebraska winters. Then again I had an indoor job up there too. lol Earlier this winter the winds took the top 10 feet of my shop chimney away. . .and now if the wind blows too much the wood stove smokes out the shop- a project to fix with the firetruck i suppose? lol but had me coughing and crying most of the day.

In the military we were issued so much vitamin M (Motrin) must of us got bleeding ulcers - I've been retired 10 years now and they still send me 500 horse pill (800mg) bottles every qtr try as I might to avoid them I am going to be using some tonight!!!

so finally the goblin is getting some love this week. anyone know right off what this wire goes to? is is on the harness and about 2 feet long.

also the purple and pink wires i tied up to the steering support quite some time ago and can't remember why. i should probably print a label for them once i re-figure it out

The single wire could be the brake reservoir level sensor, maybe? Could also be the connection to the donor horn?

The tied up wire bundles are likely for the EPS, there 2 connections - one is power (large diameter pink and black), the other is the control connections. Could also have the throttle pedal connection in there too, kinda hard to tell with everything wrapped up.
