My program at WWU had one. The Vehicle Research Institute resurrected their EV1 and posted videos on YouTube in 2006 or 2007. Then GM contacted Dr. Seal and gave the school a "friendly" reminder that the car wasn't to be registered or driven on public roads, after it had gone from Bellingham to Reno or something like that.

It's a rainy day here at DFKC, should do wonders for the Texas mosquitos

We had 2 scheduled pickups for today but it's looking like both are being rescheduled, not due to rain though or anything on our end! We'll load you in the rain, sleet or snow. Well, the guys will. Me? I'll take photos & make small talk!

#299 has moved onto the rotisserie after finishing up on the jig last week

Adam is heading out the door in a bit for his vacation. We wish him a safe & fun trip! Till later guys...Peace out!

Funny you should ask....I just came back from our welding building & found #300 on the jig now. She's got a way to go but she's coming along!

#300 was a full kit purchase & will be going home to Tim in Holt MO when he picks up next month!

I'm really wishing I would have drove down last weekend to pick mine up. This is taking for ever..... My local powder coater has quoted at $1200 and 3months tell I get it back.

Know I reached back out to Stewart today about the shipment your kit is part of. As soon as I hear back, I'll email everyone that is part of the it.

3 months for the powder coating? Oh boy. Maybe it'll go faster when they see what they'll actually be working with.

$1200 for just the chassis or other parts as well? Mine was $800 for the chassis. He did literally every metal part in my kit, including the intercooler, tubing, and subframe with modification, for $1600 in 3-4 weeks.

Seems a lot. I paid 600 and got everything the next day n all the other parts

Mine was $700, almost every metal part 2 diff colors

Thinking I am just going to do normal paint, am on a time crunch and have to have it done, registered and ready to go For November 2021 Gambler 500 Kansas Rally. But I do have a new powder coat system cost me a lil over 30g but I still need to build a oven, blast booth. and the bath wash. between running a small town auto shop, (by my self) and my practice as a Dr in child psychology, just don't have enough time to do everything needed.
