I was recently rejected by the San Antonio office as well despite having all the paperwork in order. First they said “sand rail”. Showed them the Texas Motor Vehicle Code definition of a sand rail and why it wasn’t applicable. Gave them several examples of other already licensed Texas Goblins...
Just unplugged mine and went for a quick drive. No issues. Maybe it throws a code? You also can’t do that fun little gag where you “lock” the car and it chirps the horn.
It’s a bit tough to see in the first pic with the connectors so close to the intake tube. The second pic only has one connector attached but they all hook up the same with the wiring flowing out in the same direction.
Not certain but it reminds me of the wiring for the various fans/blowers in the dash. I’ll check my wiring leftovers this afternoon.
Confirm AC fan harness, barcoded sticker has same numbers
Everything bolts together fine, just the way the pads are contacting the rotor was bugging me. I’m gonna go with it, should be good enough to get me down to the state inspection. The brake proportioning is getting great reviews so I’ll probably get to that soon. Appreciate the input.
It kinda varies based on when I put the clips on. That’s when the pads bind up in whatever position they settled in, usually slightly angled compared to the rotor. Maybe things will square up once they’ve been bled and the full force of the brake system has been put on them.
