08 SS Turbo "Donor" For Sale!!
A very sad story. The guy that owned it had some bad luck with people that worked on it. One day it caught on fire; but was extinguished quickly. Engine harness is melted all over, Brake master res and fuse box top melted. Probably not the car to put back on the road!!(I had entertained such thoughts) Lightly parted out, no wheels, seats, front bumper or fenders. Now for the bad, all over the body, it appears someone vented some anger all over the body, using a 2x4. Every panel got a dent. All glass (oddly) is in tact!
Good News, I got it titled in my name, open and clear. It now rolls on some donor steelies and has a pair of base seats(if needed). One key.
I also have that "Mystery 09" motor from GTstory, I would make a package deal to a Goblin owner or builder. I'll admit, I really bought it for the trans, front struts, brake parts, R bumper cover, misc parts and interior pieces. $3500 or make real(not silly) offer.

Did you need front struts? The PO bought a new set of struts that I got with my kit, but I’ve gone with DIY coilovers instead. They’re just sitting around my garage. PM me if ur interested.

Hey! Thanks for the offer but Cali is a bit of a haul for some struts. Shipping would be prohibitive.

I also have GTStory's LHU engine, it is not a Cobalt block but fits, I would be interested in a package deal as well. This unit has a clear title in my name. It's not in my way and I can always part it out. For the next year it is going to just sit unless it sells. I have plenty in the runway before I touch this unit!

Just to bump it up........ Also, it now has functional door handles on both sides! So sad this rust free southern body has been worked over with a 2X4 in anger. And stomped in spots. All repairable IMO(just not by or for me!). I have currently hung many spare parts off of it, headlights and stuff, it almost looks like a car! Steel base wheels with worn out stock tires, to make it roll.
Except for the cooked engine harness and slightly warmed over /toasted fuse box and brake reservoir virtually everything else is intact.

BUMP:
I still have this unit and I will listen to real offers.(locally the scrap man offered me $400, noticed it was an SS upped his offer to $1200, sorry, no sale.) Front Brembo's w/ all 4 vented discs, far condition SS interior. Black, no sunroof.
