I am selling my Covid project, assembled in 2020/21 and registered in January 2022. It has full emissions and passes the enhanced emissions testing required in Harris County (Houston), Texas. The Goblin has 465 miles since its birth and was constructed from mostly new parts; the engine and wiring harness came from an extremely clean 2009 Cobalt LS with 135k miles.

DF Kit Car Options – Extended frame, Full cage and door bars, Fiberglass Hood, Windscreen, Fiberglass Footwell Cover, Aluminum Side Panels, Side Mirrors, LED Taillights, Button Panels, Rear Coilover Kit, Parking Brake Kit, Tow Bar Package, Stainless Brake Hoses, Wing Mounts, Steering Quick Release, Bearing Hub Caps, Upgraded Shifter Bellcranks

Key Upgrades – Corbeau Microsuede FX1 Pro Seats, Corbeau 4-Point Harness Belts, MOMO Flatbottom Steering Wheel, Solid Shifter, Drag DR77 custom painted wheels (17x7.5), Nitto NT555 Tires (front 225/45ZR17, rear 255/50ZR17), GENSSI 5 Inch LED Headlight Lamp, Carbon Fiber wrap on Hood, Odo Pro reset, ZZP Exhaust Manifold, MOOG 5x110 Bearing Hubs front and rear, HP Tuners, Steering Limiter, Mophorn Double Deck GT Wing Spoiler, LED Spoiler Rear Brake Light

Finish – The frame is powder coated in Formosa Blue, with the gas tank, body panels, and other parts powder coated in black. The valve cover and brake calipers are painted in sakhir orange.

Engine – An extremely clean engine from the doner; refer to the photo in the link with the valve cover removed. I had planned to use a refurbished engine, but it was so clean I kept the doner engine.

Transmission – I purchased a used transmission from Remanns with 32k miles.

New Components – Brake Master Cylinder, Alternator, Intake Manifold, Starter, Throttle body, Exhaust Manifold, Clutch Components, Hoses and belts, Catalytic Converter, Drive Shafts, Steering Rack

The title 'Remarks' section states, "Not Actual Mileage, Rebuilt Salvage - Loss Unknown". It is fully inspected with a sticker and license plate. I have full coverage insurance through State Farm.

You wouldn't happen to have any videos of it running and driving? Preferably a cockpit view shifting through the gears. I watched the short videos you posted with the build log, didn't get much from them. Mechanically speaking, would you take it on a 14 hour road trip?

I can make and post a video on Saturday. I have taken it on the highway for ~1-hour drive with no issues or concerns, but never a long drive. I would recommend an alignment, it has never had a professional alignment, as my manual method has been fine for around town. I have no concerns about the engine and transmission making a 14-hour drive. It never gets above 185 degrees, but I would have someone with more expertise check and confirm the cooling and programming.

I added a new video to the existing link, of driving it around the block, about 40 - 45 mph up to 4th gear.

Is the alignment causing issues at higher speeds? And thank you for adding the video. Now that I watch it, I can see what you're talking about with the alignment. Do the tires show uneven wear, any issues with other suspension parts or the frame?

I have had it up to 65mph for 30 min many times when testing the emissions. I felt like I have to be alert when driving, but it never felt dangerous. It does not drift around on the road. I always thought it was because of how light it is in front, as I see others adding front spoilers to counteract this issue. I have the rear spoiler set level so as not to increase the rear downforce (thus making it lighter upfront).

Tires have 500 miles and no wear yet. No suspension issues.

I have not gotten it aligned based on timing for me. I want to take it back to where I got the ASE inspection done. That garage often works on custom vehicles, but they are not open at convenient times, and I have not felt the need based on my neighborhood driving.

I will add no suspension issues.

There's a lot of good looking Goblins on here, people should be proud of them. Unfortunately, a lot of the choices made during the build process are pretty hard to change and very specific to one's dream. I have a firm budget, including shipping, and tastes of my own that will require varying levels of modification or acceptance. No disrespect to anyone in this process, just trying to thread a needle on my end.

And hey, the memories made during the build with loved ones are forever and priceless.

I am frugal to a fault, but if this unit gets too much cheaper I may be induced to buy it! Then again I have no place to put it! (I do have a list: Buy land, terraform, utilities and well, build buildings, pay taxes then actually be stationary in the same state as the Homestead!) ******Come On People! 20G's won't buy you a well worn, 3 year old Miata "bellybutton"!
