Don't believe many of the cobalts had limited slip as it was an option. So no, don't think its really needed in this scenario though unless you are tracking the car.

You caught me, 100% planning to replace the Blackwing’s track duty with the goblin

This one looks amazingly well sorted. I was planning to build a goblin out Exobusa myself but my wife and I had our first kid so my time isn’t what it used to be. Still keeping up on autocross and track days though! Anything else that comes to mind for track duty with your goblin I’m not thinking of? My local track is very tight which makes the low weight vehicles appeal.

Are those the optional coilovers from DF or the OEM suspension? Problems that still need sorting?

Those are aftermarket coilovers. DF or not, I don't know.

Il take the Blackwing on trade and it's been great driving in the road, doesn't need anything, but I'm sure you'll find stuff to always upgrade if it will have track use.

Looked like it just wanted confirmation from the experts here. I'm well versed in the Porsche and Lotus equipment, still learning GM with the Blackwing acquisition. Some amazing engineering I'm finding that seems often held back by someone in accounting lol

Just had to ask if there was something to discover. I distinctly remember discovering the joys of vapor lock many years ago on hot days. Would have loved to know about that before I was stranded until things cooled down haha! Seems like most things are sorted on this one and really what I've been hunting for.

Seems it may be time to start dusting off the Montana LLC.

@desertrj Looks like the optional DF-provided coilovers in the rear; BC Racing Struts and QA1 springs. Although it looks like he might have a spacer on the top of it? Not sure what that is, but I don't have those.

I received those pieces in my kit but didn't install them because they are not in the "helpful Photos Album: from DF. I asked about them on my build log and was told they are adapters for the stock struts.

Ah, yeah I just found mine in a box of misc parts. Now I'm wondering if I could slap those on to raise up my rear end a little. I switched to 15" wheels and getting out of the driveway can be a challenge now, and I've gotten about all the ride height I safely can from the shocks. Adding a spacer? Hmm...
