Are all subframes the same?

Just want to verify that the subframe itself is the same between a 2006 SS and a 2009 SS (just the bare subframe).

If there is no difference I will sandblast/paint the one out of my 2006 SS donor since I already have it out, if the is a difference I'll go ahead and pull the one out of the 2009 and use it.

I believe the sway bar connects to it differently, but that's an optional part.

I believe they are, as the FE1,FE2 and FE3 suspensions are supposedly all compatible. I have a 2007 donor subframe, but am using a newer turbo engine.

07 was universal. It will definitely work.
