V1 Broken Intermediate axle shaft mount

I have a crack in my intermediate shaft mount. From what I can see online it appears the intermediate shaft has been discontinued so I am trying to figure out what my options are. Some sites seem like there is now just a longer passenger shaft that does away with the intermediate. Do these tie to the engine block to keep them aligned? Is there another bracket needed in addition to the axle?

Or should I try to repair mine? Not sure if a crack like this in aluminum can be welded?

Or I guess my other option is to try to find these at a scrap yard.

The one you have linked is the same type of setup that a 2.2 NA 5spd car uses.

On the 2.2 NA does the passenger axle attach to the engine block at all? I'm thinking about pulling the trigger on these.

No It runs from the transmission right to the hub/ bearing.

My question was the length. But according to their fit list you should be covered.
