My battery is almost 11 years old. It has been on a trickle charger since 2018, but it’s time is up. Checked it a few weeks ago and it is weak.
I found a battery on Amazon that was very cheap for a lithium battery. $200. 12V BCI Group 47 LiFePO4 Lithium... https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0F213L8XB?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share
It’s a group 47, same as the replaced H5. I looked at smaller batteries but they were all way taller (51R / 151R). I didn’t want to mess with pulling the positive cables so I went this route. It’s about 1/2” taller, but fits well. I was shocked when I picked up the box. I thought, there is no way there is a car battery in here. Needless to say, I’m very happy with the weight loss- although I’m surprised my old battery was that light. My research told me it should be more.
