Wife threatens to leave me

So my wife took her right hand and waved it back and forth over her head, the last time she only did in the vicinity of her throat when she let me buy the 1963 Chevy II SS. This time it was right after she agreed to let buy a 1959 VW Beetle Rag Top, saying this is the last one, no more cars or I will leave you (I seriously think she meant it)

So anyways I got in my truck and drove 1,200 miles up to ST. Louis to test drive and maybe (what’s this maybe thing) buy the car. Needless to say I bought it.

It is very unique and it’s not like I would find another any time soon. In the following pictures you may see why.

And here is why I had to have it,

It has a “NetGain HyPer9 120V Electric Motor” that runs off of 5 Tesla Model S Batteries 3 behind the seat and 2 up in the front under the hood.

I’ve only drove it up and down the street today and can already know it is going to be a blast. You can basically just leave the manual shifter in third and not touch the clutch and drive it with out shifting, or if you want you can start out in second which with the torque it will snap your neck back as you accelerate and shift into third.

To also top it off it has a LimeBug Air Bag Suspension

Do they have anything like AA for guys like me? Guys that are good at buying cars but not good at selling them?

Not to mention I need to get off my ass and complete the half done Goblin in the garage.

There needs to be a support group. I had a similar situation. I struggle to say no to a free project and picked up a mess of a four wheeler and got it running and presentable before getting her Bronco II finished. I am also in grave danger.

Super cool beetle tho and that sounds like a blast to drive. Good luck with your marriage.

FLA is spoiling you? That is quite the ride to enjoy the spoiling in!
Is everything indoors? If so you are in an enviable financial position my friend! And if you have the bux, well then what exactly is the worry? Open a one day a week car museum as a charity?
If you don't have the money and you are spending the kid's inheritance? Well, its a life choice. Spending your old age funds, you're defrauding yourself, ya might look into pro intervention.
I hope she is just kidding, "Look, My Crazy Hubby has hauled home Another Boat Anchor/ Unicorn."
Thanks for letting us watch!(however this works out!:cool:)

My wife’s only concern is that we need to start downsizing, especially since we will be heading back in a few years to a home just a few miles away from Desert Sasquatch in Arizona, she is like how are we going to get all these cars back there.

OK Jareth, I'm gonna stop you right there. That was NOT a challenge to go out and buy a two story, multi car hauler!
On a side note, I'd drive one too!;)

Just noticed I may have set the above video to private if any one didn’t see it.

But on to better news my wife didn’t leave me after another purchase last Friday.

I guess when she said another car that obviously didn’t apply to Motorcycles.

It’s a 2020 Harley Davidson Softail Low Rider FXLR, that has only 3,014 miles, that i found on Facebook Marketplace with an asking price of $13,050.

Offered $10K and got it
