that style mount doesn't work, the hooks have nothing to sit on with the way the floor is designed, and the center of it hits the center floors bar.

I think you get bolt holes in 3 different positions... but no sliders.
It is one way to eliminate other drivers... Sorry, but the seat and steering wheel are mounted to my specifications.

I have only seen pics of the DF mounts, so maybe someone with actual NRG seats can give a definitive answer.

I ordered planted tech seat mounts. They came in today. Now I just need the seats

Believe it has been discussed elsewhere, but you are correct about the hooked section. It’s supposed to get cut off (the lower part) when using the factory seats or aftermarket mounts. As for the rest of the fitment, I’m not sure. I don’t have my kit yet

So then how does the front mount if the hooks are removed

These are the Planted seat brackets for the cobalt. Very well made IMO. We’ll see how well they fit when I get the kit. This is the driver mount.

Think there are cutouts that it slides into or something. I really can’t say as I haven’t seen the kit in person and last seat conversation I saw was a few months back

You are right..... They "locked in" because of the center bar.

There are slits in the floor pan for the hooks to hook on a 1" square tube. But as Vwsaabvt has pointed out there needs to be metal on top of the hook so it rests on top of the 1" tube.
