Another new builder stopped by my place this weekend for a tour of the car and a ride. Ross and his family were a pleasure to meet. Not sure he would be available then.

The Goblin that I'm allowed to drive actually resides at my son's house.

OK, full disclosure, the car was/is our joint venture in terms of both financing and labor of construction. But, said son has more garage space than I do and his house is less than a mile from my house; so it's not a bad setup for it to be where it is. And, since I'm retired, I get to drive the thing a lot more than he does. Anyway, we both reside in a semi-rural area I like to call "Greater Kicaster" (which is about 110 miles south of Cedar Park).

Regarding a meetup ... Our car isn't registered and probably won't be for weeks yet. By then the hot-and-humid-as-hell days will be upon us full blast. Thus, am thinking that the fall season (when/if it ever gets here) is a more logical choice. See further comments in my reply to JBINTX. Cheers & happy motoring.

Plus, there's a person near/dear to me who has some health issues that cause me to have a lot less free time than I would prefer.
