V1 Digital Wideband

I'm thinking about replacing my wideband with one I can read directly in HP Tuners. Like an AEM with CAN bis. Now I saw somewhere a comment that the LSJ doesn't have CAN and they wouldn't work. My target is spending $0 for HP Tuners and get a digital read in the HP tuner Software. Can someone confirm which one will work?

The LSJ has the GM high speed LAN, which is basically an early version of CANBUS.
Our LSJ high speed GMLAN runs at 500Kb/sec, and is the brown and tan wires.

The AEM 30-0344 wideband allows users to program the CANBUS ECU #, Parameter Identification (PID), Message Identifier, and Bit Rate.
AEM doesn't specifically mention what bit rates are available, but 500Kb/sec and 1Mb/sec are the common CANBUS rates, so it should work.

A few of us builders have done some CANBUS hacking on our goblins.
I haven't added an auxiliary CANBUS controller to my LSJ, but did do some research:

How To Add The AEM X Series Wideband To HPTuners VCM Scanner
The OBDII output simulates an auxiliary ECU signal when plugged into a vehicle's OBD port
