V1 Dragon Motorsports 1.0 [Extended\Full-Cage\Double Door Bars] - [Frame #290] - SOLD

Lndshrk Steve
Does anyone know what thread hardware is used to mount the ignition to the frame, the video indicates to use small donor hardware? I don't seem to have anything small enough and when I took the ignition unit to Ace Hardware we could not find anything that matched the thread?

.
I'm in the habit of putting nuts and bolts back on a piece when I remove it. It's a 4 mm x 15 mm with a .75 pitch. It also looks almost tapered like a sheet metal screw. Sorry about the fuzzy picture. IMG_20211028_152038907.jpg

I looped mine too. running it through the radiator will ensure it gets up to 200+ as that is when the fan kicks on. As we will not be towing or sustained heavy acceleration, we should be ok with the engine out in the open. I think the computer outputs tranny temp so we can keep an eye on it and add a cooler like I think they do for the AT version if needed.

My loop is at the very top of the picture. I didn't know the frame would be that far away. I used some 3/8" aluminum fuel line I had left over from another project. Next time I will make a larger loop but again, I am not worried.

There isn’t a need for it to be cooled, perhaps via a transmission cooler?

.
You could put one of these in the loop and mount it somewhere that gets air circulation.

i was thinking about something like this but I think the one you posted would look nicer, and would be easier to mount.

Just performed a redneck paint job, taped up all the connectors and various openings and hit it with VHT Engine Primer.

how long should I let that dry before hitting it with the Color coat?

On passenger side which motor mount holes do I use, 2010 Auto LS?

For auto, you use the front holes that puts it closer to the gas tank. Not a great picture but was on my phone. Let me know if you need better.

A couple friends for work stopped by wit a welder and helped me install a receive so I can tow a small cargo trailer for hauling my camping gear.

I notched the receiver and picked the bottom surface since it had a cleaner flat surface.

Won’t be anytime soon but this is what I’m think for a trailer.
