I am picking up my Goblin this weekend. They havent gotten the christmas tree on the dash fixed yet so i will need to get it handled with HP Tuners. Is there anyone in DFW that i can get to do it for me?

Congrats on getting your Goblin.

I use to be able to turn off the engine light... After the EPA update, my engine light stays on. I think the issue was no SRS system. Effectively, now I don't know if a new OBDii code pops up, so thanks EPA for making my idiot light useless.

Use the tape method to remove the idiot lights.
Taping the idiot lights on the dash / instrument cluster.

Thats most likely what i will do. Ill have to do some research and see what kind of digital dashes there are out there to replace the OEM one

Tape over the lights, even the brake one (not the cel). Add a stand alone brake light to activate with the park brake to help pass state inspection.

If you send me the tune I can turn the codes off for you. I still have the old version.

We used to have a running joke that 2.24 was the best version since it was the most commonly rolled back version among users. That was before my time though, which is crazy considering i've been here almost a decade at this point.

Gtstorey, that is a nice offer.
Is there a way to get the installer version 2.24 of VCM Suite? I couldn't find it.

It's floating around in some dropbox links from various people....but no I can't personally redistribute old downloads. Also 2.24 was supported for the original MPVI only, so it wouldn't even work with your newer cables.
