V1 Identify this plug and wires?

Ok I’ve stumbled through all wiring videos so far watching several times and I’ve been unable to figure out this plug and it’s use . I thought was steering angle plug but since wasn’t sure I didn’t remove . Turns out good decision because it plugs into the info buttons on dash . However after rewatching all the dash electrical videos a few times I see no mention what to do with it or what wierd to keep and cut out . Thanks for any help . My donor is 2006 ss supercharged.

There are some button wiring diagrams on here if you aren’t using the DF sourced buttons/wiring harness. You don’t actually need the connector but the wires need to end up around the instrument cluster.

You will need to keep the green/white wire and the pink. They both go to the instrument cluster.
They are for info and return.
