Sorry for the radio silence, been traveling a ton for work recently and haven't had much time to work on the car. Now that the weather is also getting better, I decided to take the car to a professional to get looked at, and man I'm glad I did
First of all, Josh from Category V Port Worx is an ecotec guru and extremely professional. I'd recommend his shop to anyone here if you find yourself near Troy Ohio. The list of problems I had was not short and all were aiding to my rough idle issue.
Couple issues I found before going over: Cam/Crank sensor correlation. My Cam sensor was misaligned by one notch, or about 60 degrees. Exhaust Cam was off a notch. Fouled plugs due to a rich mixture caused by a vaccum leak, but not an obvious leak. O2 sensor code was a non-issue.
The guru Josh: "This was a tough one to figure out" which makes me feel a lot better knowing he said that. MAF sensor was an incomplete circuit, ground wire was broken in the harness. After repairing that, he found other broken grounds. The part of my block that everything grounded too didn't look painted, but was probably from clear coat. Cleaned fuel injectors, replaced Intake manifold gasket on the end plate (which seals the laminova cores). The gasket I used was from engine tech, and it seems to be thinner than OEM, believes this was my vaccum leak. Laminova cores were also bent and leaking. Intake Cam gear was off a tooth (seems timing was a big issue for me to figure out).
