So ive been looking into the goblin for about a week, still really new to the whole thing and i just want to make sure im clear on how the process works. If i get one of these, i personally will have to go out and buy a used chevy cobalt, disassemble it according to the videos, do everything with the engine break down, the wiring harness, etc. Then when i order the goblin kit, the only stuff that comes in the kit is basically just the tube frame, tires, a-arms, stuff like that, correct?

The kit comes with ALL the parts to get the Goblin running that are not part of the donor (assuming you get a Cobalt). In saying that is means you would use the Cobalt wheels, seats. The kit parts come unpainted (powder coated). I only got other parts that I bought separately were parts that I didn't want to re-use from the donor (wheels, tires, one new set of calipers - the kit come with one new set, most people get new seats).
