Not sure which Goblin to go with, V1 or V2

S
Aluminum roof panel fabbed up from a 'repurposed' road sign.

Windshield layback to be parallel with the A- pillar bars.

The bottom windshield bracket must be bent into an arc, recontoured on the bottom edge, mount tabs rebent and new mounting holes drilled into the hood.

Lol, i like the road sign idea, thats clever. I was thinking of going with something that i could remove, but having something solid like that actually does sound like a good idea after all. And ill be doing that with my windshield, that looks excellent. Much more natural looking.

Yeah youre probably right.

And yeah itd probably just take some getting used to, doing it over and over to get a good way of getting in and out. As far as the windshield, id definitely have to modify it, because im pretty sure my state would require it for them to give it a passing grade to be road legal. I am curious if the V2 windshield set up would be able to be configured to work on the V1 models. Im sure someone will probably try it.
After testing this prototype windshield, it would benefit if the cowl was one color. It does deflect the wind nicely, and provide some downforce.

Ah, yeah so it shouldnt ever be a problem then.

Do you have a thread about how you got it parallel with the bars? I will definitely be wanting to do that or something similar. And a roof panel is 100% being done as well.

Easiest thing would be looking at the last page of my build thread for some pictures (link here in my bio below). I too had to add a couple new holes in the hood as Squatch is describing.
