Parking brake and shifter assembly

I'm seeing some people mount the rear brake calipers with the bleed valve on the bottom. Doesn't this introduce problems when bleeding the brakes? Seems like it would introduce air into the system?

Bleeders always need be up to properly bleed the brakes

Everyone I know of that has done it that way has had problems with bleeding. Mount them up.

Anyone who is incorrectly mounting the calipers has the bleed valve facing down. It must be facing upward to get the air out of the caliper.

No, the bleed port needs to point upwards.
