Has anyone put in an aftermarket short shifter into their F35 car? I would imagine you an just buy any aftermarket short shifter and it will work. Has anyone done it? Thanks!!

We have a short throw shifter. Works fine but the adjustment has to be spot on. The larger square base of this one limits the throw in side-to-side direction and limits the amount of throw so the adjustments have to be perfect since there is no room for error.

I looked all over and it seems the majority prefers the billet pro shop one for overall quality. That’s the one I plan to buy. I seem to remember not being able to find it, though.

Exactly what I bought.

I had purchased the ZZP short shift adapter that you modify the stock shifter for. So far seems to work good.
Never had the chance to drive the donor to feel the difference. But as with most short shifters, they increase shift effort and can make gear selection a little more tricky. Like it was mentioned, precise cable adjustment is required.

I was wondering why I've been grinding so many gears. Good to know I have an excuse now. :)
