But I do agree, the reverse lockout is better on this short throw.
You still have to push it quite a bit to the right to hit reverse. The reverse lockout it really nice to have as it sets you up pretty well to hit 5th gear. I tried driving it around with the lockout disengaged and always struggled to find 5th.Can’t you just omit the reverse lockout? I did on my stock unit and the groupbuy shifter doesn’t have it. It’d be really hard to go into reverse unless the DF unit is a lot easier to hit reverse than stock?
