SOLD WTB Steering Wheel Controls

This is half a question, and half a WTB post. As some of you know I just bought a Cobalt as a daily. It does not have cruise. After doing some research, if I get some parts from a donor Cobalt with cruise, it should be relatively plug and play to add cruise to my Cobalt. I know I will need the dealer or someone with a Tech 2 to activate it afterwords.

So the question is, does anyone remember if we reuse this harness? Its been too long and I don't remember. It is the harness that goes from the steering wheel controls to the clock spring mechanism:

If we don't use it, would someone with an 09-10 Cobalt donor with cruise still have the buttons/bezel and harness that I could snag? Thanks

We don't reuse the harness for the Goblin. Unfortunately I don't have the parts anymore.

I have these, the piece the harness goes to is smashed from hammering the wheel off during disassembly, but you don’t need that right?
I’m not sure what button was on the left side but can’t find it in the bin the steering wheel was in.

EDIT: Shoot, I just realized you said 09-10. This is from an 06 more than happy to ship it if you want to try. I can try to take it apart and throw the harness and buttons in an envelope to save money on shipping.

Thanks @Traé, I'm just now realizing there are different steering wheels! I think that means I definitely need a late model (09-10?) steering wheel as yours looks completely different than mine.

I think the harness miiiiight? But I would probably have to resolder it to the proper controls as yours has different things on different sides. The late model ones seem to have cruise/info/enter on the left and radio controls on the right. Looks like yours has a combination on each side.

I think I'm going to wait and see if I can get a late model wiring harness. Not super interested in cobbling one together. Thanks for the offer though, really appreciate it

I think I have a steering column in my shed still fully assembled. Let me check this week, see whats there. Definitely a 2009.

The same wheel was used on almost all 08-9 Chevys(US made) and Pontiac G5 and G6.

Thanks @comegetjoe and @Dominicnicklyn ! I was able to make my own harness and wire in the cruise control and everything works! Had to have the dealer enable it for $150, but hey, cheaper than aftermarket cruise and its not wireless so its more reliable!
