The most interesting vanity plate I know of was my cousin had 'PHUQUTO' for many years in the late 70s in Illinois - until the DMV got smart and figured out what it actually said. This plate and any combination of letters that phonetically sound like a swear word have been banned and I firmly believe it was because of Dave.

Time to revive this thread. We put so much work into these things you might as well do something interesting on the plate!
I work in the solid waste industry, so I thought this was fitting...
Side note, I’m not happy with the plate location at the moment. I moved my air filter down to its current spot and hasn’t had near the affect on IAT’s as I thought it would, still need to do some more testing before I find a permanent home for my license plate.

SC only allows 7 characters so I'm a little limited.

Does your state make you give an explanation of your personalized plate? I ask because Montana does. You should have seen me try to explain ZAXMAX for the plates on my duramax to the lady at the DMV. It was comical.
KITHPNS is awesome! Just tell them it’s a kit car and that should be no problem. I had a buddy get FUGGIT on on of his motorcycles. Told the DMV it was his grandmas maiden name. Lol.
I hoping for GRIMACE for my purple goblin. The hard part is picking a plate design. Anyone that has gone the MT registration route knows we have over 200 plate styles to choose from.

I tried that location, but it made contact with my strut. I had a pretty good spot just above there, but it ended up being right in the passengers ear. I kept earplugs in the car, but it just got annoying so I moved it down by the transmission. When I was doing it, it felt like a terrible idea due to heat, but I haven’t seen the spike I thought I would see. And it makes a huge difference on drivability due to sound.
