V1 Straight Pipes - Montana Registration

Hey guys, quick question - So I'm in the state of Georgia, but going the Montana registration route. Has anyone (who has gone the Montana route) experienced any cop/legal trouble with having straight piped exhaust in any of your respective states?

I never even started my goblin when I got my inspection for Montana, but I think it might depend who and where you get your inspection done. I had to drive to the neighboring state's highway patrol office to get mine inspected because Colorado is an ass

I THINK that no matter where the car is registered, you need to comply with noise laws of the state you are driving in. It's not about it being a straight pipe, but the noise level being blasted out...

For what it's worth I've never had any issues from the law and I have about the loudest option possible, something like 18" from atmosphere to the turbine and the gate right on top, the only comment I have ever had was mention of emitting flames being a hazard during a drought/burn ban

Based on what I'm hearing, I think I'm leaning towards just running a blast pipe. For those of you that have done this, what do you do with your post cat O2 sensor? Also, does anyone know where I might find something prefabbed that will fit the bolt on exhaust flange for a ZZP Z54?

Post cat O2 is removed both physically as well as disabled in the tune file unless you're running a cat, it has nothing to do with the normal operation of the engine and is solely for emissions
