V1 Street rod body on Goblin chassis

Since Maryland is still Maryland, has anyone fit a street rod or other body on a Goblin?
I picture something like this:

Could be fun.

Try a V-dub beetle body since, well, it's rear engine anyway....

I think there has been one fiberglass body completed and one in the works. With the right body and the right skills it can be done. If anything other than fiberglass it probably shouldn’t be done because at that point why not just use a chassis from one of the hot rod shops. Or find a tube chassis race car that Is a lot closer match in terms of wheel placement and engine location.

I've thought about doing this. Maybe a '27 Track T nose, and some hacking up of a fiberglass T-bucket and some whitewalls... just enough to claim it's a "street rod" and get it registered in Louisiana without all the BS.

I know that a VW Beetle hood will not work with my setup. I tried after seeing this post, and now I have a hacked up hood in front of my garage.

Good Evening, Couple of weeks ago pulled a Bradley GT body out of a farmers field. (Traded some VW parts, and tipped the AAA tow truck driver after burying my truck and trailer trying to get it out). Never really liked the look of it but the price was right along with the wheelbase. So...
