Made some progress in the cockpit area. Front end got some bracing. Radiator is mounted. Pedals mounted. Reservoirs mounted. Used a c6 throttle pedal and cut the bracket to modify it so I could mount it properly. Steering column is all in. Really happy with how it's turning out so far. Will end up doing some Tin work around the master cylinders to keep the heat off of them and make a tunnel ram through the Grille opening to funnel the air up into the radiator and out the hood. I will cut 4 strips in the hood and install Heat extractors.

In case some has not said it, this reminds me of FrankenKart that was runnung around a few years back. I saw it on YT. It also used and Audi transaxel. I will also say if this frame was offered by DF I would buy it because I just prefer the sound of a V8.

A lot of my inspiration came from frankenkarts videos. I've watched every single one at least twice lol. I stumbled across that build when I was doing research while waiting for my chassis to arrive. I too prefer the sound of a v8 and I was initially trying to buy a more plug an play style kit car that was mid engine and v8 but nothing really available what I wanted so that's how I ended up down this road.

UPDATE!! WE HAVE ELECTRONICS. We are close to the first startup. Couple weeks away from a first test drive I would say. It's crunch time. The weather has been teasing us up here in new york. I've been putting in all the extra hours on this thing trying to get it ready to go for spring! It's really starting to look like a car now.

Wow! It is truly a beast! Those familiar with a Goblin can spot the differences immediately, but everyone else is just going to be dumbfounded by the V8, bundle of snakes, and how incredibly small it is (when compared to other V8 powered vehicles) I'm guessing the finished weight will be 1900 lbs. Can't wait to see a video of the first drive!
