2 different studs, not the same application. The wheel stud presses in from the back of the wheel hub. The bearing hub mounting studs screw into the mounting face that mates to the aluminum upright. If the thread is bad on the stud, the thread in the bearing hub is also messed up. It could be chased with a tap, but it will not be as strong as a good threaded hole will be. Replacing this bearing hub assy would be my recommendation, but that's just my opinion.
