I always tell folks to do their homework and get a lift that is ALI certified. I was at work and had a Chinese lift break and the car hit my shoulder and the hood cut the back of my hand on the way to the floor. I wasn’t even working on that car, I was walking past it headed to the parts department.

I have used nothing but Rotary at the dealer and my last fleet job. I would have loved to bought the same for home, but they are very pricey. I opted for Bendpak 10k for home use. I like their leg design, options, and it has all the certifications for a bit less than rotary. Since I’m not doing everyday commercial work, it’ll work well, I do believe.

Well get to it. That’s a lot of money to leave sitting around. Shouldn’t take more than a day or two
Since the hurricane last July destroyed my FIL’s place he’s been living with us. We are building him FIl’s quarters at our place and to do that, we had to cut the electric in the hangar. It’s been out for a couple of months now, hope to get it back next week or so. So even if installed, it ain’t gonna work without power. :( It is on the todo list this next week or so, though. I have the floor lined out already for it.

Well now I feel bad.

Lol. No worries. I have been talking about getting a lift since we bought the place 6 years ago. I started making it a priority a few months ago scoping out the one I wanted, then Bendpak put it on sale, so that’s when I pulled the trigger, even though I knew it would sit for a bit.

I’ll need to borrow my neighbor’s forklift and call
Some buddy’s over to help. We just have to make a Saturday out of it.

Went out for a drive this evening. All of a sudden I lost dash lights and running lights. Everything else is still working. Hopefully I just popped a fuse. Can someone confirm the dash/running lights fuse is in the BCM before I pull the hood and footwell cover to get to it.

Traé
I believe all of the lights are ran from the fuse box. I will have to rewatch the wiring harness videos, but I remember extending them. I also hear a click from a relay at the fuse box when I turn on my brights.

Still trying to track down why my running light fuse is popping after driving for a while. Now the HE pump doesn’t have power. Check all the fuses. Non popped that I can see. Also looked at the grounds. All see good. And suggest would be appropriated

That could be tough to find. I’d start with a really good visual inspection of the wiring harnesses and see if anything is pinched or rubbing. If everything looks good try doing a wiggle test around on the harnesses and see if you can get get the fuse to pop. If still nothing it’ll be tough to find, I’d add an inline fuse where it comes out of the fuse box and goes to the rear to isolate front from rear

Have you checked fuse size to the amperage being pulled by the lights? And depending on the light design, it can be something failing within the light that shorts when it heats up enough.
