I would like to install something similar, but smaller, that doesn't have a speedometer but shows the other information. I started working on an Arduino project to do just that, but I've been way too busy at work, and way too lazy otherwise, to complete it and would love a turnkey solution. Has anyone seen a device like that?

This is the one that I have that is smaller. Available on ebay for about $50. I haven't really tried any of the other screen layouts but the speedometer but it will show more.

Don't mean to jack this build thread, but this one looks pretty sweet.

It says the border can be a psuedo-shift light... that seems pretty bad-ass.

I think most can be set for a shift light, they have an alarm (change colors) based upon rpm. It's a question of how visible is it.
Be careful getting carried away with expecting them to show a lot of info at once, I think most will be to small to be very useful while driving. That of course depends on where you can mount it and how good your eyes are.

Excellent - thanks for sharing, I've been looking for something exacly like this. Hopefully it works well - not many reviews on Amazon and some say its junk. Looking forward to a longer-term test review!

It matches the gauge cluster accurately on the one I got so we will see in the long run how it does

What would cause the car to go right when letting off the gas and go left when on the gas?

Either alignment or tire pressures. I fought this for a while but getting tire pressures down into the low 20’s has pretty much cured it.

Did you change the lower control arm bushings? That's what it sounds like.

Lower control arm bushings could be part of it also. Depending on how bad it is it could be a combination of all of the above.
