V1 Bajakid1450’s ss 2.4 turbo track goblin build

S
Has anyone tried it on an 06 ss/sc?
I plugged mine into my 06 SS/SC and was disappointed to find it doesn't work. Some features did work (speedo, voltage), but most others do not. The unit itself worked well when I plugged it into my 2019 Ford, so its not a defective unit. Maybe an OBDII genius on the forum (I'm looking at you Ross!) can find a workaround with custom connections?

My guess is that the gauge is preprogrammed for the 2009+ PID numbers for the sensors. If you can find out how to program it for custom PID numbers, you probably can make it work for our 2006 Goblins.

I'd be happy to send you mine if you want to play with it.

Waiting on the Petg filament to get here then I’ll make it I’ll have it done sometime next week
I used the 3M tape that came with it and stuck it to the under side of the hood. Worked great so far.

Still haven’t made the mount yet I’m working on some 3D printed tail lights for the goblin to post up on here with all the links to make them or I might make a batch to sell. Doing step by step changing some things on it for trial and error so it may take a while and each print takes 18-26 hours. Final product will be done in a week or two

Ooh, really shiny!! Like the nitride coated pistons and girdled block(?) - going for some big HP? The head studs are a must! Did you do the balance shaft replacement or delete? Can't wait to see what power this little monster will make! :D

How's the build going?
Well, DDM works has had the car since Thanksgiving. They have been using the car to prototype everything to make a kit for the goblins unfortunately the amount of time it is taking to complete it and make CAD files for each part of the kit is taking forever and also a ton of Dyno tuning. BTW my friend saw you in Georgia at a track day a month or two ago I think he asked you if your user name is Rauq lol but hopefully soon my car will be done soon

I remember talking to him, but don't remember what he was driving.

Hope to see you out and about soon!

A Mercedes, and yea I hope soon I miss driving it, but currently making a Ecotec swapped 1973 vw type square back
I remember that car because he lost a wheel on track, but I didn't remember that the car and that driver went together. What a coincidence that we parked next to each other.

I ran into a Carolina Ecotecs group member the other day who said he had Drew's LNF Goblin in his garage. Don't think he's on the forums though.

I also ran into a guy at 13 Stripes Brewery a while back who was at one point the owner of one of the originally DF-built early chassis cars.

Funny how Goblin folks cross paths.

Ok after almost a year of waiting for the prototyping at DDMWorks in Piedmont SC the goblin is finally done I went for a drive in it today and OMG the acceleration is mind-blowing !!!! I will pick it up tomorrow after work and take some pictures for everyone to see their turbo kit for the goblin they designed and it's actually pretty amazing. Very professional and friendly staff helped out and answered all my issues along the way and made some changes to a lot of oem stuff to clean up the engine bay area. Gotta give these guys a call if you have a 2.4L goblin because they fully built the engine for power well over 500hp and designed the turbo kit for it to keep it simple and clean and effective. Even spent weeks on the tune on the dyno and the street to make it absolutely perfect
