Good morning Goblin Family & Friends.....Happy Tuesday
This morning at DFKC
Updated forecast for us later this week is not looking pretty. We've contacted our visitor that is scheduled for Thursday & our Friday pick ups, asking them to please call us before heading this way. We always want to keep everyone as safe as possible! Rain starts tomorrow, turning to ice & then snow falling on top of it all. It's not often that we get inclement weather like this so we're just playing it by ear. Whatever hits the ground tomorrow & into Thursday will not be going anywhere till the weekend as we'll not warm up enough for it before then.
Eric (#1 Stewart Transport driver) is here today picking up & heading North asap. 3 kits are going home to Ohio & the 4th to Illinois.
It's about impossible to see but in the front of his trailer is an airplane. The wings are mounted to the sides.

Good morning Goblin Family & Friends!
Adam & Lonny made the call before the end of day yesterday to keep us all home today, better safe than sorry! I'm sorry if no one answers the office phone but Lonny is there today & is available for calls. If you try calling, let it ring through till it goes to a cell & he'll definitely answer if he is able to.

This snow is not the fluffy white snow, this stuff hurts when it hits you & it's creating a frozen layer on top of everything. We won't be going over freezing till Saturday sometime. We had several hours of rain before the freezing temps hit, making it that much worse,
Some of you live in areas that are MUCH worse conditions than what Texas will EVER see. Here we don't have snow plows, etc. The State did ask everyone to stay off the roads today, unless absolutely necessary & thankfully it looks like that happened pretty much. The morning news showed nothing but empty highways that are normally bumper to bumper traffic. Sadly, there were fatalities over night & pray that there are no more.

A week? Talking with local shops here, it may be 3-4 weeks. I have some things I want to do to the frame first, so that'll delay the powder coater as well. I just hope I can have it drivable before next fall.

I think I was 6 weeks at the powdercoater. But that was time frame he told me when I dropped off so I knew what I was getting into. One week would have been great but his backlog was justified, he did a great job on my frame.

Busy busy busy as always!
333/358/374 are all scheduled to go out via Stewart Transport on our next regional shipment. We gave Stewart a "ready date" of the 14th so we're just waiting to hear when they'll be here so we can get the chassis' packed with their kit contents beforehand. And before those of you with an eagle eye ask....The seat & such will be coming out...We recently used that as a test for a customer who was wanting to see "fit".
Big enough for a body or two...Just sayin'...

Here shortly, we should be seeing Bobby stop by. He is interested in becoming part of our Goblin Family & is lucky enough to be able to stop by on a day off! He was scheduled to visit us last Thursday but we rescheduled thanks to snow & ice. Hopefully we'll be adding another Family member!

#373 all finished up on our rotisserie, passing inspection...SCORE!!!!
#375 on the jig
So far this month, we've had 9 kits go out the door, some pick up, some with Stewart Transport. We have another 5 or 6 penciled in to go before the end of the month.
