#396 is indeed an A/T, 1 of the last 2 that we'll be welding as a matter of fact! #410 was the last A/T purchased while we still offered them. Once it hits the welding jig, good-bye to welding A/T chassis'! #396 on the rotisserie today....

We've been waiting a few days for YRC to swing by to pick this up:

31645

This is how we are now having to prepare anything going out via YRC thanks to having repeated damages reported to us on shipments where we were not crating them. While this is a simple crate, it is still needed to protect the fiberglass items & more inside. We're not taking chances! Hopefully YRC will be here today as we scheduled it for pick up on the 22nd. To them, it simply means ASAP. I say it all the time but, nature of the trucking industry. We so appreciate all of those hard workers that keep the supply chain going though!

We have several customer kit pick ups coming up quickly. I promise to those of you that I'm referring to, I will be in touch to let you know the earliest possible pick up date, once I have that info from the warehouse. As you can see, they are preparing these to go out asap...Not to mention the 4 we have ready for Stewart already (All 4 headed to FL) but are still on hold for a pick up date!

I have never WANTED to receive a bill so badly in all my life... I keep checking my email daily looking for an invoice from Stewart!

I think the one on the right is mine.... It is the only one I see with the double door bars... Unless that's one for pickup...

Paul, a Stewart Transport rep will call you when they know they'll be here. They take payment over the phone. We haven't been given a pick up date yet but you guys generally get the call about the same time we see an email for pick up. Hang in there!

GoblinGal
@GoblinGal can I ask why exactly you guys discontinued the A/T? I'm sure the standard frames outsold them 10 to 1. I'm guessing you guys needed to retool for whatever your next product is ... *salivates*
It was all about streamlining, trying to speed up production time, etc. No new product announcement ANY time soon...But nice try! Adam will openly tell folks, we are years & years out from any new possible kit. Right now we're doing our best to take care of the 400+ Goblin Family members we have & look forward to making that #500 before the end of the year!

Another gorgeous afternoon here in Red Oak...Sadly the YRC crate is still here but I have high hopes it will go today after the phone call I made this morning.

#387 hitting the jig today...She's penciled in as part of a regional shipment (headed North) that we've given Stewart Transport an estimated ready date of 4/25. Remember, that is NOT a pick up date as that is totally up to them.

We sold 32 or 33 kits last December but we're chugging away at dwindling down the backlog of chassis & as of yesterday's sale of #422, we're back to a 12 week hitting the jig schedule! #We anticipate #422 hitting the welding jig on June 20th. Not too shabby!

Have a great weekend y'all!

Prepping for outgoing orders...Anyone who has a pick up order please know that we'll be in touch about a pick up date as soon as possible. If you're waiting on invoicing...We're doing our best to invoice everyone as soon as possible. Adam does his best to control the workflow at any given time but please feel free to email [email protected] & check on your order at any time!

#395 on our welding jig...Scheduled as part of a Stewart Transport regional shipment we anticipate to have ready by 4/25. That is NOT a pick up date, we rely on Stewart for all of them.

Lots going on here as always...Currently we have 9 Stage 1 or Full Kits that are pending invoicing as well as a few latter stages orders. Adam controls the amount of workflow that goes out to the warehouse at any given time for many reasons.

We're currently waiting on payment for 4 different orders that folks asked for invoicing for quite awhile back.

The warehouse is processing several pick up orders (some kits - some not) but I have not been given possible pick up dates yet. #376 #379 & #303 - I PROMISE as soon as I hear that these are ready or close to it - I WILL be in touch.

We currently also have 4 kit orders that we're waiting to hear from Stewart Transport. The 2 Florida kits that we had scheduled as their own regional shipment that have been ready since 2/28 & now 2 more Florida ones that we told them we'd have ready by 3/28. As soon as we hear word - you guys will too.

I know that everyone is anxious for their kits, purchases & even responses to technical emails. I PROMISE you, we are all trying our best for you guys & we appreciate your ongoing patience. Really.

Have a great day y'all!

I'm sorry I've been off here for a few days - I've been dealing with family issues on top of everything going on here at DFKC. I think it's pretty creepy that my screenshots of our weather show "SEEK MORE IN ARKANSAS" at the bottom but I know that what we look at online reflects a lot of the ads we see.

With that said, I have news to share - I'll be leaving DFKC within the next month or so. Notice has been given, all that is left is to determine my exact date as I am moving back to NW Arkansas (Bella Vista area) to be closer to my son & grandkids again. My move back to Texas from there was the best move for me at that time but now moving back, settling in & going back to work for my previous employer in Springdale is what is right for me. My sons divorce is complete & he can really use my help with the kids. Back to Gramma life I go!

I've enjoyed my time here & being part of the Goblin Family for sure. I know that Adam will start looking for a replacement for me soon & more than likely I'll have to do a bit of training for them so they aren't left blind sided with all this work I do.

I know I've missed several chassis' being done this week - I am REALLY sorry. I do my best to post those photos you guys love to have! I HATE disappointing you guys! I will certainly ask my replacement to do their best on this though they may not do it at all as this was something I started on my own - It wasn't asked of me or part of "my job" - I just thought it would be fun to share. It certainly opened a whole can of worms though as at the beginning there were always those questions of "Why aren't you welding in order?" or "I saw mine on the jig over a month ago so it must be ready for me to pick up.", etc. As always - Everyone here does their best for you guys - We're Family after all.

That reminds me - I hope that the term "Goblin Family" continues as the creation of it was my idea - I never ran it by anyone - I just started using it. When I started here, I saw how y'all interacted together on our forum - How supportive & helpful you are to one another. FAMILY came to mind & I ran with it.

Thanks for letting me be part of this awesome family for this past year+. My time here has been nothing but awesome - even the times I had to work from home thanks to covid! Y'all up in Arkansas better be ready for my return & me hitting you up for rides for my 3 grandkids!

Back to business ~

Stewart Transport will be here Monday - Florida bound FINALLY with 4 kits going out! Today #376 picked up his full kit at 8AM & later this morning we're looking forward to a visit from Gabe (#407) as he is in the Dallas area visiting friends & wants to stop by for a tour, etc. Great weather day for a visit, for sure!

Invoicing is still processing 3 customer pick ups (382/385/390) as well as latter stage shipments (344/244/346) & 2 future Stewart Transport shipments already (next outgoing after Monday should be headed North/NW w/ an anticipated READY DATE NOT P/U DATE of 4/18 (381/384/389/396) THEN the next shipment anticipated READY DATE of 4/25 heading North to MI/IN/IL/MN & MO.

The warehouse is working on latter stage shipments for 337 & 216 - Those will ship as soon as possible. And of course, they're also working on all the misc. orders we have currently as well as the work they do on our wiring harness supply kits, etc.

We're currently on hold & waiting to ship out a BUNCH of Button Panel Sets - We received the metal pieces from our vendor & the pieces are now at the powder coater. Once we get them back here, they have to be screen-printed on & then we can ship them out to you guys. We promise to get them to you as soon as possible.

We're THRILLED to see ALL the MCO request come through! This last month it seemed like Adam was creating 4-5 a week & today he'll be doing 4 more (207/261/278/244). HOW EXCITING to see SO MANY Goblins getting ready to hit the road!

Lots to do today ~ Have a great day Goblin Family & Friends!

Best of luck with the job change/move. The welding and jig pictures for the frames were a nice touch. Thanks for bringing a fun daily thing to look at on the forum and all the help you have provided with my kit questions I had emailed you about.

Thank you so much for your contributions, we're definitely more of a family for your hard work and effort! I'm not surprised that your insight led to the whole "but my chassis number is next!" stuff, but I think you and we did a good job of reminding folks that y'all are always doing your best to deliver quality kits as quickly and cost-effectively as possible.

You can never be replaced, but we'll try not to be too rough on whoever it is that steps into your shoes ;)
