Brake booster clearance?

I thought I read somewhere on here that spacers are required in order to get some of the newer master cylinders to clear the cap less radiators but by looking at the setup I cannot figure it out.. any help? I removed my spacer in between the booster and pedal box but this is causing my brakes to constantly be applied so I need to find about 1/2 in

Add a couple washers under the aft/upper pedal box support and the pedal box. See Lonny's reply to my thread where I had the same problem:

What are people using for heater hose? I'm about ready to pull the chassis into the shop and start running hoses and can't find a 1" ID hose that lists the OD. Has anyone used the Gates 28420? If you're referring to the main coolant lines that run through the lower frame tubes, the hose...

Thank you for that! I will try that now but it’s hard to see being able to gain enough clearance. I hope it works! Did your booster have an 1/2 in aluminum spacer also?

I still don't have much clearance. I ended up placing a dab of silicone caulk between master cylinder and radiator to try and damp out vibrations some. Can't remember which master I ended up going with, but I may have also shaved a smidge of material off the end.

I'm using the late model master/booster like you are, and I do have the 1/2" spacer installed - blurry pic attached.

I see what you mean about not having much clearance! At least my brakes will function properly now! Thanks for the help!
