Mine quite a bit quieter than the df supplied exhaust.

Surprised you guys are making it louder than what DF's exhaust does, I already wear ear plugs every time I take my car out. I've got the stock exhaust manifold and stock DF exhaust. I'm looking at doing a dual resonator to make the exhaust quieter without restricting flow too much. Not sure if I want to do both in series or parallel. Also gonna swap to the zzp shorty headers.

ZZP Ecotec Shorty Header

This stainless header will bolt in place of the stock manifold and bolt up to a OEM style downpipe. It has 1 5/8" primaries and a 3" exit flange. This will work with our bolt in 2 1/2" and 3" downpipes. It comes with a new head to header gasket, header to downpipe gasket, and bolts/nuts/washers...

Air intake noise is more of an issue for for me.

The turbocharger on the TC cars has a side benefit of reducing certain exhaust frequencies and reducing the perceived dB level, as compared to a SC or NA exhaust using like system components. The intended use of the car and the local laws also help determine what type of exhaust may be employed. The exhaust system weight is also a factor for some builders too.

I custom made my exhaust for weight savings over the stock LNF O2 housing as well as moving the O2 away from the Turbo as the LNF has a tendency to burn out the primary O2 due to the heat being so close to the turbo outlet. It is not nearly as loud as you would think from looking at it. Should of had it stick just a little further to the rear or more defined turn out to the rear as I have some slight discoloring on the pass rear frame tube from exhaust heat and soot.

Dang Scott, your 'muffler' is even smaller than the 'muffler' I chose to use! But smaller is lighter!

I am working on something. I have made a down pipe flange that fits the O2 housing if anyone wants the CAD file. send cut send cut it for me. it was $100 kind of spendy, much cheaper if multiple people wanted to order some.

kept my DF exhaust as a back up. here is my little downpipe I have mocked up which has a 3" inline muffler, going to a cast stainless Y piece (which has a great flat spot to add a wideband gauge sensor), then off to dual sportbike mufflers, each muffler was designed for a 1,000cc Aprilia. Should flow plenty. will have some vibrant V bands in there too. Now I just need to learn how to TIG weld.
