My initial overcomplicated 2-gauge design was because I thought I needed to design waterproofiness into the gauge pod, and to precisely control gauge orientation. My significantly less overcomplicated 3-gauge design vastly simplified gauge orientation when I realized between a slightly press-fit opening of the gauge and tightening the mount studs, I didn't have to design for orientation control. I kept the pod shape mostly for aesthetics, and because it didn't cost me much more than a couple minutes of design time and some filament.Y’all are fancy. Here’s what I came up with.
But yes, that's about all you need for a gauge mount. I was planning on designing/simplifying something similar for friend given that I've got good dimensions for a 2 gauge pod that includes the ambient light sensor.

I took my 2 gauge pod and sliced off the shell, and copied over the mount brackets from my 3 gauge pod. I have included the three backers I used, each with and without holes for studs. The shortest is for an AEM Truboost, the medium is for an AEM 30-4110 AFR gauge, and the tallest is for an OEM Cobalt boost gauge. If you're not sure which backer you need, you can guess at the length and drill holes in the hole-less ones for your gauge's mounting studs.
Note the front face is 5mm thick, the shortest backer is another 5mm, the medium is about 32, and the large is about 45.

Cool, I will get them printed from one of the print sites. Once I get it, I assume this panel is for the AEM AFR gauge and the OEM boost gauge? If so, can I modify the boost gauge hole to fit another AEM gauge? I gave up on my cousin making them, so I just order it somewhere.

The panel is sized for 52mm gauges, which the OEM boost gauge and AEM AFR and Truboost gauges all are. What I called the backers are what are more gauge specific. They're sized for the depth of the gauge, and if you want to use the stud holes, the stud hole spacing as well. Any 52mm gauge will fit in any spot in the panel, but if you want to use the backers to seat and retain the gauge in the panel, you'll need to select one with the right depth (and hole spacing if appropriate).

It's looking like the hold down for the AEM Doesn't go all the way down to the base of the gauge. Not a problem I'll just design a new hold down setup. I'm looking at sealing the back and plugging the holes on the top..
