V1 Engine alternator 6 rib pulley

Has any body bought the ZZ PERFORMANCE crate engine LDF and it come with 6 rib harmonic balancer so I need to buy a 6 rib pulley for my alternator, If anyone has bought one already, Can you tell me where you bought yours from and what size. Would be greatly appreciated.

I double checked mine and it is also a 6 rib. I just bought a brand new alternator which is factory at 5 rib. I'm not sure it matters as I see that the ATI harmonic balancer are 8 rib. So unless everyone that uses one of those is changing at minimum idler pully and alternator, and for some cars also AC and SC pulley what are they doing?

My Harmonic

Balancer is 6 rib and the idler pulley is fatter as well for a 6 rib belt, just need to get alternator 6 rib pulley, or just run it with

I bought the belt Lonny suggested for the 5 rib, but with this being 6 and a bigger idler, does your belt seem to tight

Yeah it is SUPER tight. I guess I'll have to look for a 6 rib pulley also.... Let me know if you find one first.

Yeah they are easy to find just don’t know what size shaft to get could call summit or one of them and tell them what we need and they should be able to tell us which one.
Will let you know if I find one but I’m cleaning stuff to put on my new engine,
So we need a 6 rib belt 1-2 inch longer

the inside diameter of the 5 rib pulley is 378.99 mm or 08.625 in.

Jegs has one for 18.49 a power master steel but I want to find a black one to match

8.625 inches is 219mm. 378mm is 14.9 inches. So you confused me.

Okay I found one on amazon a lot cheaper than jegs for 13.77 will just have to paint it black. Now the fan belt I measured from one mark all the way around and it’s 35 that’s what the wrapper stated also. So I figured 36 would do it but the one I pull up on amazon looks way to long

Yes 378.99 mm 14.9 in. The right size. I’m going to order that now and still look for belt

Gates lists all their belts by ribs and length It will give you a part # to cross reference Gates belts

I no you don’t want it slipping on you, we need more grip with the bigger turbo. My Roush has the 6 rib super charger with 675 ponies . I don’t really know how to send a link but I’ll see what I can do
